January 28th, Full Moon in Leo: You are Unique

Today the Moon becomes full under the sign of Leo.

This moon will be in opposition to the Sun and Jupiter in Aquarius and square to Uranus and Mars in Taurus, this means that it will be a lunation full of charged and powerful energies, its light will clearly illuminate our metamorphosis faced in the previous lunation, showing us now how we can use change to express ourselves.

The sign of Leo requires us to celebrate OURSELVES with courage, it’s time to put ourselves first on our priority list, analyzing our needs. Allow your creativity to express itself without limits, be it an art project, a new way of cooking or communicating; this is the time to reveal yourself to the world, rediscovering your uniqueness.

The main theme of this full moon will be letting go of everything that hinders our self-esteem and love for ourselves. It is important to take advantage of these energies to realign our Ego with our intentions, to rediscover our true essence.

A very useful activity in this regard can be creating a Vision Board. Whether it's in digital format or made of paper and ink, it doesn't matter, the important thing is that it is visible whenever you need it, whenever negative thoughts occur.

It is equally important for our mental health and for our personal growth to depart a little from what is happening in the world. We know 2020 it was a complicated year, a year in which the fuse of change was lit and in a rather traumatic way I would dare to say. In 2021 we will have to face the consequences of this change, the atmosphere will therefore be tense for a while, the old system is almost dismantled, the future is still uncertain and to be defined. After a long period of general suffering, in which we have been bombarded with apocalyptic images and exhausted by fear, I think it is normal to feel all empty and burned out, for this reason now the focus must be shifted to us and our evolution. There will be room to take care of others in due time and, on the other hand, if we are not at peace with ourselves we cannot be comfortable with anyone else.

We are now forced to a period of stagnation, instead of focusing on what is wrong and getting anxious about not finding a solution, with the risk of becoming real bombs ready to explode, let's focus on a vision of the future, an optimistic and positive vision, attracting abundance and creating the foundation for the beautiful things that will happen to us!

In a few days Mercury will enter retrograde motion, from January 30th to February 20th and throughout 2021 it will be predominantly retrograde in the air signs. We may feel a bit lost, clouded, in any case: we won’t think straight. Remember, if you can, not to sign contracts and not to establish anything definitive during this transit. The deity that best represents this lunation is the Celtic God Lugh. A member of the Tuatha Dé Danann, Lugh is regarded as a powerful warrior but above all he is the one who masters multiple arts and skills. He is a deity associated with the light of the sun, it is thought that his very name derives from the same word "light", in Latin Lux, which in turn derives from the Indo-European Leuk, for this reason people dedicate him the abundance of harvest, which is celebrated on the first day of August, called Lughnasadh.
