Skayler is a veteran of the Italian pagan scene, she is a traditional witch and for many years has been spreading information about Northern European withcraft on both her blog and on her YouTube channel (you will find all the links at the end of the article), besides being very involved in numerous witchcraft forums and have created one of her own.
As she describes herself:
"I do not like to define myself other than an eclectic and not because of fear, but because otherwise I would cause wrongs above all to myself; I am mainly interested in the path of Hedge Witchcraft, a combination of a shamanic path and witchcraft. My own personal path is strongly influenced by traditions of Northern Europe: Scottish and Cornish Traditional Withcraft and Norse tradition. And I cannot define myself if anything other than this, with this foreign name closest to what I am and what I have been."
And to Hedge Witchcraft are connected many of the creations that you can find on her online shop. Almost everything you will see is handcrafted; most of her works are unique pieces of art, like her beautiful Momis (where the name of the shop originates from).
The Momis are little magical creatures, born from the mind of Skayler. They are a kind of beings belonging to the Fairy Folk: they are witchy helpers and each of them has a magical characteristic, which makes them real lucky charms for those who own them.
As said above, they are made entirely by hand and inspired by the artist, this makes them unique pieces and are usually awarded through an auction. However, it is possible to buy them also on commission.
Skayler's laboratory is a real forge of ideas, so, in addition to Momis, you will also find a large amount of magical items you can buy: instruments, travel altars, amulets, and many other things.
One of the highlights of the shop is the thematic Witch Box: every month it is possible to pre-order a box with a series of surprise items, inspired by the monthly theme.
I bought some myself and I have never been disappointed by the surprises!
In the photo here you can see an example of objects that you will find in the Witch Box.The items are of course handcrafted, to be used with the rituals provided - customised by Skayler and the amulets are rich in her energy.
On the web you will find many other "similar" pagan themed boxes, but few of them contain original and precious objects like these, considering also the really affordable price.
It is excellently made, literally I could not resist!
It is a representation of the God, made of wood, fabrics and natural inserts, such as stones, moss and feathers.
The thing that I liked most is the wealth of details, nothing is left to chance.
What can I say? Definitely a recommended shop for all the lovers of fantasy lore and pagan crafts; the value for money is excellent and Skayler is a very serious and helpful artisan.
