1st of August, New Moon in Leo: It's Time to Shine!

New moon leo lunar phases

Tomorrow morning, at 5:11 am, the Moon becomes new under the sign of Leo.
Leo is the symbol par excellence of creativity and self-enhancement, combined with a new moon, which as we know represents the closing and reopening of a cycle, provides us with the necessary sprint to promote our maximum expression.
This lunation puts us on a stage, forcing us to share our light with the rest of the world: it’s showtime!
We will also feel inclined to change perspective and let ourselves go a little; life is not all work and duties but also fun and playfulness!

The new Moon has the power of attraction, write down your intentions and your desires for the new cycle by asking yourself first: what makes me truly unique and authentic? and how can I express my uniqueness to the fullest?

These are the last hours in which Mercury finds itself in retrograde motion under the sign of Cancer, in the last few days we have felt more fragile and emotional, so much that we sook continuous confirmation and certainty in the emotional field. We will be able soon to fully enjoy the brilliant energies of the Lion, leaving fatigue and complaints aside, basking in the exuberance and passion typical of this sign of fire.

Under the sign of Leo, together with the sun, we also find Mars and Venus, in a sort of archetypal marriage, our feminine and masculine side find expression in the same way.
This alchemic marriage will give birth to something new that will allow our awareness to expand and the fear that too often restrains us in doing the actions we yearn for, to step aside.

The deity that best represents this lunation is the Goddess of the Hindu pantheon Shakti.
Shakti represents the power of feminine cosmic energy, the same energy that moves the universe. As energy Shakti takes various forms and various names depending on the Goddess in which it is translated, from the Mother Goddess to the destructive darkness. It is in fact an archetype in which we find strength, power and fertility, all represented in a female figure, which can then become Durga, Parvati or Kali respectively.
