28th of June, Full Moon in Capricorn

On the morning of June 28th, around 6:40 am, the moon becomes full under the sign of Capricorn.
Forming a conjunction with Saturn in Capricorn, the Moon is in detriment, that means when the planet is under the opposite sign of his own domicile (which in the case of the Moon would be the sign of Cancer, a sign in which the Sun is at this moment).

This Moon, strongly influenced by Saturn, stimulates us to act wisely, it teaches us the sense of duty and sobriety.
The journey, begun with the arrival of Saturn in Capricorn in December, will continue with the energy of this lunation, which will make us all stand on the ground and will allow our practical sense to reinforce itself.

The Saturnine energy of Capricorn also affects our mood, making us more melancholic, but also stimulating our creativity. We use this energy to our advantage to ground ourself more with the earth element, to get more stability, in order to feel more comfortable by contrasting the various mood swings influenced by the Sun in Cancer.

While the last new Moon in Gemini has put us in touch with others, this lunation allows us to dedicate time to ourselves, appreciating a little solitude and turn our energies into introspection.

The deity which best represents this lunation is Ninurta, the Mesopotamian God, the lord of the Earth.
In the theological-astrological system, Ninurta is associated with the God Saturn, in his aspect of God of agriculture.

A famous legend that refers to Ninurta compared to Saturn tells how Enki, the great God of the abyss and of the underground waters, asked Ninurta, to fight Anzu, a winged dragon that stole the tables of Destiny, with which he could command fate itself.
Ninurta turned into a half goat and half a fish monster to fight the dragon and retrieve the tables.
The other Gods, grateful to Ninurta, allowed him to become the guardian of the tables of Destiny, and immortalized the battle creating the constellation of Capricorn.
