April 27th, Full Moon in Scorpio: Trust the Universe.

Between 26th and 27th April, the moon becomes full under the sign of Scorpio - precisely at 03:31 CET.

This lunation will be one of the most powerful of the entire year and it will continue our inner journey that began at the beginning of 2021, finally finding a keystone.

Both the Moon and Scorpio are linked to the Water Element and with everything related to it: emotions, intuition, the dream world but also phobias, anxiety and the irrational.

It will be a very intense lunation, amplified by a Super Moon and opposite to Uranus in Taurus - which will open a breach and will bring out all our emotions, further fuelled by the trine with Mars which at the moment is in the most emotional water sign, Cancer. . We will feel more sensitive and more in touch with our feelings, our intuitions will be amplified.

There is a strong tension, this combination of planets will stimulate a profound and sudden change on a global level.

This lunation is strongly combined with the sign in which the Sun is located: Taurus. When the Sun is in Taurus we tend to focus on ourselves, on our autonomy and on what we possess, however when the Moon enters Scorpio we change our point of view and we can see what we lack to feel complete. The deity that best suits this phase of the moon is the kemetic god Anpu (better known by his Greek name Anubis). Originally known as Lord of the Duat (the Egyptian Underworld), he is a psychopomp deity: his task is to lead the souls of the deceased to their final home, putting them to the test during the Weighing of Hearts ceremony: if the heart was lighter than the feather of Maat, on the scales, admission to the Kingdom of the Dead was guaranteed; otherwise, the heart was fed to the terrible beast Ammit.

Like almost all the divinities linked to the funerary cult, Anpu also plays the role of opener of the ways and frees us from obstacles (see also Wepwawet); and he is also depicted in black - a colour that symbolised both death and rebirth: black was the colour of the silt of the river Nile, when the river overflowed it destroyed what it found in its path but also brought with it the fertile soil for a new life.
